Spring Has Sprung & Croydon’s Getting Cool
It’s been a while since the last blog from Room PR HQ and since then spring has truly sprung and everywhere you look blossom is blooming, flowers are poking their heads above the ground and lambs are leaping…well, not really in Croydon but you get my drift.
Speaking of Croydon, change is afoot here too with the wasteland next to East Croydon train station which has been doing nothing for as long as I can remember, getting ready to make room for a new Boxpark.
Yes that’s right birthplace of the finest supermodel ever, Miss Moss, is going to be cool once again with the arrival of East London’s finest.
Of course, I’ve never doubted Croydon has potential but it’s great to finally witness some of the much talked about regeneration taking shape and nearly four years after the riots which decimated the area and created a feeling of nervousness, there’s a renewed feeling of pride and hope.
Boxpark Croydon opens in 2016. More information can be found here on Boxpark’s website
